The noble nature of tradition
Gusto Balsamico is an exhibition devoted to vinegars and pickles from across the globe. It is both a showcase and a cultural event that highlights the quality of these products by promoting greater recognition and understanding of a product as symbolic as traditional balsamic vinegar from Modena.
Gusto Balsamico is made possible by the Chamber of Commerce and the Provincial and Municipal Authorities of Modena and will be held in Modena, October 5-8, 2007. It is being organised by ModenaFiere in partnership with Slow Food Italia.
This biennial event was inspired by the deeply-enrooted culture of food of the Emilia region that is a product of its traditions and heritage. A place where know-how and culture aspire to unsurpassed standards of quality and whose reach extends to the point of becoming an event with true international flair, a pivotal venue for meeting and comparing notes with respect to an affinity of traditions from across the globe.
