Tasting areas
Visitors to Gusto Balsamico will come across several sampling areas as they walk through the various halls, offering them a wonderful opportunity to embark upon a journey of discovery through the various sweet and sour specialities to be found in Italian cuisine as well as have a taste of some of the local dishes.The Bistrot of Excellence from Modena is an opportunity to sample cold and hot dishes inspired by “home cooking” as well as some innovative creations using vinegar as a major ingredient.
An integral part of the Bistrot is the Enoteca Wine Bar where it will be possible to choose from a wide selection of quality Lambrusco and white wines from some of the best wineries in It alimentary education aly, chosen to complement the food on offer on the menu.
The best Lambrusco wines will also feature in the Home of Lambrusco: an area dedicated to the oenological excellence of the area through the special varieties grown today and other varieties from the past, a testament to the biodiversity of the area. Next door, the Osteria del Tortellino has the characteristic feel of Emilia. It is a trattoria dedicated to the most famous dish from Modena, offering tortellini and fresh pastas.
Visitors will be able to admire the magical art of the women pasta makers from the San Nicola Association as they work and then try some of their tortellini in brodo or other local pasta dishes, washed down with a glass of Lambrusco.
